I’ve been researching dental implants for over 10 months. Spoke and met with many, with total disappointment with “surprise” additional charges! I have to say that Dr Ellis and his staff are true professionals. From my initial phone call with Ms.Taylor to discussing the procedure, the no nonsense all inclusive pricing, and the process details with Dr Ellis, I experienced their dedication and attention to my concerns first hand. Can’t wait to get my new smile in a few weeks. 👍 10/27 UPDATEi I had my procedure done today! All teeth (upper) removed and had 5 implants and temp dentures installed while the gums heal! I had serious issues about going under and especially the “after pain” during the recovery process (I had read horror stories). This was the easiest and less painful dental experience ever. The staff was there with me throughout the procedure! After, had some minor swelling and discomfort for about an hour and a half. Picked up their prescription painkillers at CVS and to my surprise, No pain after that, I mean zero pain at all? I was waiting for the brutal pain to hit, and nothing. All my pain concerns were for nothing. These folks deserve 10 stars 👍👍 More

Got my wisdom teeth taken out and the process went smoothly! I was super nervous as I do have anxiety, but the staff made me feel so much better and prescribed me with medication that is amazing with pain! Didn’t feel anything much in my healing days and I’m healing beautifully. Would definitely recommend this location. Dr Carmichael did an amazing job! More

This is the best oral surgeon office I’ve ever been to! The office is so clean and the whole staff is very welcoming. Doctor Carmichael was such a good doctor to work with for my procedure. I have no concerns after having oral surgery to remove one of my upper teeth. Throughout the years I have had a lot of work done on my teeth. This is by far the best experience I’ve had after having my tooth pulled. I’m not having any pains. Dr.Carmichael you are an excellent dentist. Thank You! More

I was really nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed, especially being close to the age of 25 (when things typically get rough in terms of risk of dry socket and recovery). But Dr. Carmichael and the staff were wonderful. My surgery was easy and seamless. The nurses were friendly and cheerful and I never had any doubts about things being explained to me or my ability to choose options. The doctor completed my surgery for all 4 teeth in 30 minutes, which I really appreciated, and didn’t hit any nerves or damage anything. My recovery has gone smoothly. I haven’t had any issues a week later, and the doctor has been available for check ins and questions I’ve had throughout the recovery process. All in all, the best possible experience and treatment I could have asked for! More

I 100% recommend here! I have had the worst experience with dentist and procedures in the past and Dr. Ellis changed all of that for me. I was referred to his office on 7/25/2023 and they got me in two hours later. He talked me through all of my options on my broken molar and helped me decide what made me more comfortable. I had surgery that day and he gave myself and my husband his personal number to call if I needed anything at anytime. I had to call him at 9pm and he answered and told me to come in first thing in the morning to get my comfort back. He even sat on the floor and played and hung out with my 2 year old son! I will forever be a patient here! More

This place is IT! I was terrified about getting my 4 wisdom teeth plus an additional molar extracted. From the moment I walked in for my consultation appointment I was at ease. Yari at the front is one of the warmest, kindest people I’ve met. She treated me like family and I’m so grateful! I wish I wasn’t terrible at names because the second girl I met was awesome too and I enjoyed talking to her! Then Dr. Selkin walked in and he also made me feel like family. He is caring, attentive, and very thorough. The staff of ladies that helped prep me for the surgery were also so awesome and made me feel so comfortable, I’m a very anxious when it comes to dental work, I haven’t always had great experiences, but I felt completely at ease. This office is fabulous! The front office staff is so kind and accommodating and got me squeezed in for my necessary surgery before my deductible reset June 1. They always answer the phone, they always follow through with what they say they are going to do! Love them! Dr. Gil Selkin is amazing! I have used him five times for Mohs surgery reconstruction. The scars are so minimal you’d never even know I had surgery! He will even give out his personal cell phone number if you have any complications and need to get a hold of him. Everyone at PURE were so nice and professional. The office was so nice and clean and smelled familiar to me so I felt very comfortable. My experience from the consultation to my procedure was AMAZING! Leo was so considerate and took very good care of me during my procedure. This has to be the easiest and smoothest dental experience I have ever had! Dr. Carmichael was great. He listened to my needs and did exactly what I needed. I got 2 wisdom teeth removed and a molar removed. All in all after paperwork the procedure took no longer than 45 minutes and I felt 0 pain with the IV sedation! I highly recommend this location for dental work and I will be coming back if ever needed. My only complaint is that it is on the pricier side but well worth the work. It has now been 12 hours since my procedure and no signs of swelling and very minimal pain as expected. The staff was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The front receptionist was amazing as well, helped out with payment options and made everything a breeze! Like I said this location was great and Dr. Carmichael did an amazing job! More

My first visit I told them my back tooth was having pain and they didn't try to do what other places I have visited do which is adding on more issues. Update on my recovery from surgery. Had my upper teeth removed and implants installed on 10/27. Today is 11/09 about two weeks later and all is well. Today I was eating steak at Tx Roadhouse (in small bite size pieces). This has been a life changing event for me.I hesitated out of fear and cost for so many years. And now I can smile confidently thanks to Dr Ellis and his wonderful staff. Why did I choose Dr Ellis? After meeting with many other facilities, Dr Ellis was the only one to breakdown everything, simple, clear and concise. No surprises and with no “other” down the road charges. And, Dr Ellis’s credentials are beyond impressive. His vast experience gave me the assurance that I would be in the right hands. And, all my doubts, hesitations, fears, pain and discomfort were all unnecessarily self imposed. I’ve had more pain hitting my shin on the boat trailer than with this procedure. Can’t wait to have my permanent teeth installed in February. If you are thinking about doing this, You would be amiss by not consulting with Dr. Ellis. Absolutely 5 Stars! More

Originally I wanted todo 1 star but because I was relief of my pain and the staff and doctor was so awesome I couldn’t do it, as far as my issue it’s being rejected full quality dental care, gotta be one of the worst feeling to ever experience , If you have bad credit or like me no credit you might be denied both carecredit and sunbit and being told there’s nothing else I could do besides pay what I wanted in full was so sad for me, I was unable to afford the entire procedure I needed but regardless im grateful what I was able afford worked out okay and my swelling died down, I also would like to apologize for having a bad attitude while I was there, even with my bad attitude staff was still calm and collective with me . 👍 if the credit part was fixed or maybe had some kinda better program this would be amazing, I could of tried to find another place but in my situation I didn’t have time or money for it, again I would like to thank the doctor and staff for being amazing they had nothing to do with my rating. Highly recommended! Even with my anxiety at an all time high, Dr. Ryan Carmichael and his assistant were able to reassure me that I would be okay despite him being the 4th dentist for the same tooth! They were correct! Procedure was amazing. We discussed everything, he explained the procedure, and made me feel very comfortable with an otherwise nerve-wracking experience. I am grateful for his care, calmness and vast knowledge. I wish all dental work could be so simple. They gave me an IV and told me I would take a nap. I woke up in no pain. (Have minimal now) They were very kind to me extremely patient and extra understanding! I was worked into the schedule, due to a difficult root canal truning into an emergency tooth extraction. More

My mom had a reconstruction surgery for a Mohs procedure on top her head, Dr. Selkin was extremely nice and proficient. He did a fabulous job. Looks like she will have minimal scarring and the hair will be able to cover the little bit of scarring that she will have. The staff in the office are incredibly nice and our wait time was minimal to be seen each time we have gone to his office. More

Dr. Selkin is downright amazing. I went in to get a wisdom tooth out, and Dr explained everything and answered all my questions. The staff was so kind and understanding about my fears regarding sedation. I was basically without pain by about 24 hours after surgery which I've never heard of with wisdom teeth. So impressed! This has been the best dental experience I’ve had. Dr. Carmichael and his staff were kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My procedure took less than 45 minutes and I experienced absolutely no pain, swelling or discomfort. The office is immaculate and the customer service I received was top notch! I was in extreme pain from a root canal re-treatment that had quickly gone bad.. I needed to have the tooth pulled and a bone graph done to prepare for a dental implant .I was really scared about the entire process as my nerve was exposed and their was a chance of permanent damage. The office staff was great and explained everything. Dr. Carmichael made me feel at ease and went over everything that was going to happen and let me ask questions. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The entire process went super smooth and they had me out in no time with no more pain. My meds were already waiting at CVS for me too! First impression was made when they were unable to take my initial call. They returned the call and asked me to call back. The following day I tested this by calling a number of times. Never answered. So, I came in. Reception was decent, but it was too slow to merit not answering the phone. Having been told the process would only take 20 minutes, I made an apt for the consultation. Showing up for my SCHEDULED apt for a 20 min process, I've been here over an hour and have yet to see a doctor. The mouthwash and to go toothbrushes in the bathroom are a nice touch. As stated I'll update this as it progresses. Update: The doctor came in shortly after my initial review posted. He apologized for the delay, and threw in a platelet treatment in way of apology. Very cool. However, I had to leave before my surgery quote was even generated. When I'd mentioned the need to go based on my schedule, there were no apologies for the wait from front desk personnel. The consultation itself was fine; quick, informative and concise. Concerning the front desk attitude and overall scheduling process, they have room for improvement. More to come concerning the pre and post surgery experience. Concerning the day of surgery: Everthing went great. They were able to fit me in earlier than expected in response to my schedule. Bedside manner in prep was flawless. Calming, yet authorative. I feel fine and the surgery was just about an hour. Friday following extraction: almost no pain at all; even skipping pain pills. This held true throughout. I have to say, the experience was a bit anti climactic when considered next to the tales told of extraction. I found bleeding to have stopped roughly 40 hours after op. I was in extreme pain from a root canal re-treatment that had quickly gone bad.. I needed to have the tooth pulled and a bone graph done to prepare for a dental implant .I was really scared about the entire process as my nerve was exposed and their was a chance of permanent damage. The office staff was great and explained everything. Dr. Carmichael made me feel at ease and went over everything that was going to happen and let me ask questions. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The entire process went super smooth and they had me out in no time with no more pain. My meds were already waiting at CVS for me too! I haven’t had a regular/primary dentist due to having some experiences that gave me a little PTSD, but upon learning of my history they were quick to make me feel as comfortable as possible. They spoke to me like a family member, and explained everything to me in detail to ensure I could trust them.
